Join us live every other Sunday on Talkshoe (call ID#39587) as hosts Terri and Samantha discuss the ins-and-outs of modding and adding custom content to the Sims 2 game (and soon to include the Sims 3). Each week new custom content is featured with in-depth reviews of how it's installed, how it affects the game and whether we loved it or hated it. We'll also give tips and hints on general customization, the software used to create them, and all that goes with making the game uniquely your own.
This week's episode is an in-depth review of mod types. We'll go over the types of mods you can add to your game, and give a few examples of what they are. If you would like to tell us about your favorite mods or mods you've made, come join us! If you can't make it to the live show, please send us an e-mail at thesimsmodcast[at]gmail.com or call the listener line at 206-426-2805. We'd love to hear from you!

In this first episode not only did we feature some cool and fun mods we added to our games, we discussed modding in general: What is a mod, and how do you add it to your game? Where do you find some of the best mods? Also, we featured a brief overview of how you can get started making your own custom content for the game.
